They first met in C.E. 71 when the ship that she was on (Silverwind) was attacked and she was sent into a lifepod and ended up on the Archangel. Many of the crew members felt she was hostile because of the fact she was a Coordinator and the daughter of the Supreme Chairman of ZAFT at the time, Siegel Clyne. Kira however, was really nice to her and like her, he did not want to fight. The next time they met, Reverend Malchio found Kira on a beach head and was brought under Lacus Clyne's care and protection until he got better. It was then Lacus felt that Kira would be able to stop this war if he had the heart and power to do it, thus giving him the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam. Ever since then, Kira has constantly been by her side and they both cared for each other. Athrun Zala is whom she was to be married with. Her father Siegel Clyne and Athrun's father Patrick Zala were good friends and decided that their children should marry with each other when they grew up and was arranged. Athrun x Lacus Athrun and Lacus both loved each other greatly, but unfortunately, due to their schedules, they didn't really work out and they rarely saw each other. The first gift Athrun made for Lacus was a pink Haro, which she really liked. As a result, Athrun made many Haros for her. He also made her a robotic dog called Okapi  that she also loves. Pink Chan______________________ Out of all the Haro, Pink chan is Lacus's first and most loved Haro. It follows her around everywhere and is a great companion. When she was aboard the Archangel, it would have been very boring for Lacus as she was supposed to be cooped up in a room the entire time, but thanks to her Haro, she was able to sing with it and have fun.
